    VERNAL — It was supposed to be a quick, two-day trip. Mark Mussack and his 9-year-old son had driven a rental truck from Tempe, Ariz., to Vernal on Dec. 30. The boy was headed home to his mother, Shonna Luck, and the truck was loaded with some of her possessions.
